How do I connect my email account to Slack? (i.e Outlook, a custom domain…)

Updated 2 days ago by Floriane

MailClark gives you two-way sync between your email account and Slack, allowing you to both send and receive emails directly from Slack. All emails written in Slack are saved in your email account.

To connect your email account in Slack, just follow these 4 steps:

  1. Add MailClark to Slack if you haven't done it yet.

If you're already a MailClark user:
    - Type help in a DM with MailClark and click "Connect services"
    - Or go to and click the  sign in button on the top-right corner.

  2. You'll be redirected to your browser: Click the "Email" button.
  3. Type your email address.
  4. MailClark will recognize your email provider and automatically fill in the rest of the information needed to link your account.
Just enter your password to confirm your identity and you're done.
If MailClark doesn't recognize your email provider, you'll have to fill the IMAP/SMTP informations to connect the account.

Once you have your email address set up, you can try to send a new email to see how it works!

Remember, if you need help during the process, you can contact our team via a Slack DM to MailClark or at
